The Morton Arboretum offers thousands of species of trees and other plants on 1,700 acres of open ground; with areas organized by region or species and connected by scenic walking paths. Special areas at the arboretum "Xanadu", a sculpture created by artist Patrick Dougherty by tree branches, a children's garden to excite the senses and the research-focused Sterling Morton Library are just some of the areas in the arboretum that enhance the overall experience. Located in a far western suburb of Chicago, the arboretum is a mile south of the College of DuPage.
Open daily 7:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m.
Adults $9; Seniors (65+) $8; Youth (3-17) $6; Children under 3 are free.
